A snapshot of September and a look into October
Published: September 30, 2026In the Monthly Recap: August 2026 post, these were my plans for September:
Attend the Virtual Wine & Paint event (featuring my ducks!)
Host a community game stream where we play a guessing game where Nomad Sculpt (or other 3D modeling) is used for giving clues.
Continue to make educational content that I can also share as a slightly more polished video on my YouTube channel.
Design additional seasonal ducks for the fall season and Halloween.
Publish ducks that have been completed (birthday cake duck, donut duck, ghost duck and candy pumpkin duck)

My ducks were featured for the Virtual Wine & Paint event hosted by Asylum Life!
It was great to see how people put their own spin on painting my ducks! Some were printed larger than I have ever printed any of my ducks. There was even one printed in resin!
These were the options I picked out to give a variety of ducks. Patch the Pumpkin Duck and Jo the Coffee Duck were popular choices.
I printed Frankie the Hotdog Duck in white PLA and primed it before painting it to look like it had all 7 toppings of a Chicago-style hotdog (on a poppy seed bun). Love how this one turned out (except for maybe the tomato slices that don't show up well).
This was the first one I painted and accidentally got some pink paint on the tip of a wing, so I leaned into it and made it look like painted nails! 💅🏻
Twitch
I've been staying consistent with my Twitch streaming schedule, even adding another weekly stream into the mix!
Monday mornings, I've been starting the week and sculpting ducks. With the help and feedback from the viewers, we designed a few fall/Halloween ducks and designed new emotes for the channel!
NEW! Tidying Tuesday has been a chance for me to focus on tidying up my physical and digital spaces. My OBS scenes are so much better now! (My Stream Deck too!)
We've still been "wingin' it" on Wednesdays. I created new YouTube thumbnails, Twitch channel point redeems and power-ups! I'm currently writing this monthly recap blog post during a "Wingin' it Wednesday stream!
On Tech Thursdays, we've been continuing to build out the Chat Pond overlay, the Duck Duck Guess game, and even created a new overlay for cute sticky notes!
We've also had a bunch of impromptu streams where we hung out, made more progress on projects, and even played board games online on Board Game Arena. Thanks to MrPoundsign and Delta_Traitor for getting me back into board gaming more regularly!
